*REVIEW* True Blood Season One

It’s almost like vampire are a new, hip thing because you can’t go anywhere now without hearing about them in some regard. Walk into the mall and you get Twilight thrown in your face. Go to the bookstore and you will no doubt find books from the “Twilight Saga” as well as others ones that have recently came out to jump into the hype. Then we have The CW who recently picked up a new Vampire show (“Vampire Diaries”) and the previous vampire hits like “Angel”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, and even “Moonlight”.

*REVIEW* Spring Breakdown

Ah, direct-to-video. You never really know how good or bad the film is until you watch it. No other reviews are usually available and half the time you look at the DVD or Blu-ray and go “what the heck is this?” In enters Spring Breakdown – a film that has been delayed several times that finally, finally, ended up on Blu-ray and DVD (likely to tie into Poehlers show “Parks and Recreation” that was just renewed). And what would you know, it stinks.

*REVIEW* My Bloody Valentine 3D

Remakes, or “re imagining” films can sometimes be a   good thing. I always like to point to Dawn of the Dead (2004) as one that was not only successful at the box office, but was actually a decent film that took small bits from the original and re purposed them. My Bloody Valentine 3D is not that.

Plot: Tom returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine’s night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people….
